After more than one year of development psotnic version 0.2.14 has been released. You can download it here.
This is also the last release of the 0.2 branch.
Please do not link any bots that are older than revision 194!

The third and hopefully last release candidate of 0.2.14 is available. Download it here.
The following things have been changed since 0.2.14rc2:
- removed compabitility settings (patrick)
- report bot handle and not nick if a bot requests shit (patrick)
- repeat module could not request shit (patrick)
If there are no bugreports for 1-2 months, then this will be released as 0.2.14.

The following things have been changed since 0.2.14rc1:
- fixed segfault when module path is a directory (patrick)
- added raw module to modules/Makefile (patrick)
- config generator asks for vhost (patch by [C]167)
- ensure bin/ exists when linking (patch by [C]167)
- moved SVN_REVISION to config.h, distclean cleans up (patch by [C]167)

Please help us to find the last bugs, so we can release 0.2.14 soon.
It is not recommended to mix 0.2.14 and older versions. So please upgrade all bots and make sure that the following settings are OFF:
- Code: Select all
.set pre-0.2.3-final-compat OFF
.set pre-0.2.11-final-compat OFF
.set pre-0.2.14-final-compat OFF
.set pre-rev127-compat OFF
Read Changelog and Release Notes before you upgrade! Update: patch that avoids crash when doing: ".bc bot cfg +load some-directory" on some systems (affects prior versions too)

The development of 0.2.14 is stalled at the moment. We are going to make a few more changes in the module support soon (more hooks, customData class, clean module.cpp) and then we can make a release candidate.
If you don't want to wait you can update your bots to 0.2.14pre already (which is in the latest snapshots). For a clean update you may read this thread first.
There is no need to update your bots every time when a new snapshot has been released. Please have a look at the svn changelog first.
Please keep in mind that most of the developers don't really use psotnic. So it's up to you to report bugs and request new features.
